Carlton Cellars is owned by husband and wife team Dave Grooters and Robin Russel. This boutique winery planted their first vineyard in the Yamhill Carlton AVA in 2003. Their 22 acres on the Savahna Ridge share the hill with Tony Soter, Mike Bayliss, and Ken Wright. Dave brought considerable experience to the project, having worked as the former vineyard manager for Ken Wright. Carlton Cellars is certified sustainable by LIVE. Live wines are independently certified to meet strict international standards for environmentally and socially responsible winegrowing and winemaking in the Pacific Northwest. LIVE certification is one of the most authoritative sustainability accreditations in the wine world.

Cooperage: all French oak, selected two- to four-year-old barrels.
