Celler La Salada came out of Toni Carbó’s family legacy. Toni is a winemaker from Penedès who has a wealth of experience in the wine world thanks to his father, grandfather and great-grandfather. It was from them he inherited his passion, and he now tries to work without using chemicals. His project then grew exponentially when he began collaborating with Ramon Jané and Mercè Cuscó from the Mas Candí winery.
La Salada El Pagès Content blanc is a wine that comes from old vines planted in clay-calcareous soil. These vines are grown without using chemical fertilisers, opting for organic and ecological treatments instead. The harvest is carried out manually in small boxes at the optimum point of ripeness.
In the winery, the La Salada El Pagès Content blanc grapes stay in contact with their skins for 7 months and are spontaneously fermented with native yeasts in a stainless steel tank.
