The Meziat family has been involved in the viniculture of wine since 1870 in the village of Chiroubles. They were part of a vanguard of 12 wineries in the region to first bottle and market Cru Beaujolais. Today David and Nathalie Meziat sustainably farm 35 total acres of vines over three villages to make up Domaine de la Combe Au Loup. This 100% Gamay is picked from vines an average of 50 years old amidst the varying soil types and hillsides of Morgon, Regnie and Chiroubles.
