Intense ruby red color with violet nuances, impenetrable, consistent. The nose is complex and broad with fine fragrances and evolved elegant fruit and sweet and woody spices. The taste is dry, medium- bodied, almost rugged, intense and persistent.

Platinum is a young and dedicated winery, having been created only 8 years ago. It is a family owned company, run by Marzia, Sonia, Mariateresa, Gianni and Daniele. In 2011, after three years of steadily improving production, they bottled the first vintage of Sogno Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The name "Sogno" means dream, representing the hopes and efforts the family put into producing this wine. Platinum's production is now 100% natural with a sustainable agriculture protocol that is perfectly integrated in the production process.

The winery is located in Corropoli, with vineyards that lie on the Controguerra hills. Platinum works on a total surface of 35 hectares to produce 250,000 bottles in two different areas of Abruzzo; Controguerra, and Torre de' Passeri. Here Platinum works with 3 main indigenous varietals -Montepulciano, Pecorino and Trebbiano - and produces over 7 different products.
