Domaine Amiot Guy et Fils, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Vergers 2018

Guy and Thierry Amiot continue to produce classic Chassagne Montrachet that expresses their varied “terroir”, enhanced by approx. 25% new oak. These are very pure wines with a subtle balance of fruit, acid, and minerality. Amiot has avoided the trend of trying to make New World wines by harvesting ultra-ripe fruit. These are brilliant, finely chiseled wines of true Burgundian character. The Domaine offers a superb collection of Premier Cru sites that reflect the different terroirs found throughout the appellation. They also produce an excellent Cuvee of old vines Chassagne-Montrachet Village.
