Gilles Paris comes from a long line of vigneron in Beaujolais. He is a large burly man with an infectious warm smile and passion for his land and vines. He's worked in the regions vineyards for his entire life tending the vines of his family and in-laws. Today, he cares for 8 hectares of his own vines in Chiroubles, Fleurie, and Morgon. He's always farmed organically, but took the step to be certified in 2023. During COVID, he was joined by his daughter Justine in the winery and office, passing the baton to the next generation.
All wines are 100% gamay, made with carbonic maceration. There are no additions or subtractions during the winemaking, and the wines age in old barrels for 10-12 months.
