Fire Road takes its name from the infamous fire that swept through 17,297 acres of land in the Wither Hills of Marlborough, New Zealand in 2000. The brave residents, of what is now known as Fireroad, fought the blaze alongside the firefighters are the inspiration behind the name and the wine.
