The earliest distilleries in Brooklyn date back to the 1700s. During Prohibition, there were over 50,000 illicit stills in New York City. Since Prohibition, however, the ethereal perfumes of distillation have been largely absent…until now.
To be labeled BONDED, a whiskey must originate from a single distilling company, be produced during a single season - either spring (January to June) or fall (July to December - and be aged for a minimum of 4 years in the same barrel in a federally bonded warehouse, and be bottled specifically at 100 Proof (50% ABV)
