Vacher & Fils is a 25 acres estate established by Jean-Pierre Vacher, recently joined by his son Jerome and daughter-in-law Karine. It is as a united family that they have decided to develop the recognition of their estate until now only sold locally. Slowly but surely, step by step, vineyard management has been improved, winery equipment is being renewed and projects of a brand new winery are being drawn.

VINEYARD & TERROIR
The 10 hectares domaine is located on the best spots of Sancerre. The 25 years old vines are planted on clay and limestone soil with ideal exposure to the sun due to south facing slopes.
WINEMAKING
The grapes are harvested the traditional way, by hand. Fermentation is temperature controlled for 15 days. Ageing in traditional vats to obtain a pure expression of the varietal characteristics.
TASTING NOTES: This bright yellow with green hues Sancerre is crisp and intense. The nose reveals notes of citrus (grapefruit) and stone fruits (peach) with vegetal touches. Round and fresh in the mouth.
FOOD PAIRING: Smoked salmon with crème fraiche, dill and chives. Trout covered in sea salt and baked.
