The wine's time sur lie (aged on its lees) adds a gentle creaminess and a slight natural spritz, balancing its vibrant citrus character. Clean, refreshing, and mouthwatering, with a long mineral finish.
"Le Gang des Nantais" comes from the historic Muscadet region in the western Loire Valley, near Nantes, where the Sèvre and Maine rivers meet before flowing toward the Atlantic Ocean. The maritime climate, combined with granite-rich soils, produces wines known for their freshness, salinity, and distinctive mineral character. The wine is made from 100% Melon de Bourgogne, the signature grape of Muscadet.
The Sur Lie designation means the wine spends the winter resting on its fine lees after fermentation. This traditional Nantais technique enhances texture and complexity while preserving the wine's hallmark freshness. The result is a Muscadet that is both crisp and energetic, yet carries a subtle roundness and depth.
