93 POINTS James Suckling "This wine shows gorgeous aromas of crushed raspberries and cherries with hints of flowers. Medium to full body, firm and silky tannins and a vivid, energetic finish. Drink or hold."
Choose this Rocca di Castagnoli, Chianti Classico is a nice succulent mix of red cherry & dark berries with a hint of licorice. It's bold but not overpowering, silky with terrific depth for an easy mix with wide range of foods. This wine is very nicely done & is a "Go-To" of mine. Big shout out to D-Vino for always having it in stock.
This is a great full body red wine, the perfect acidity to cut through greasy meat dishes but also refreshing to clear the palate. Very fruity - dark fruits & red berries. For what it is, I'd give this win an 9/10
