In 1972, our father Luigi Antonutti, one of the most important experts in the Friulian wine, realized his greatest desire, that is, to devote himself to viticulture. As he loved the land and the fruits of these hills, he bought some hectares in the heart of the Collio Goriziano and founded the winery Subida di Monte. Thanks to Gigi's love and dedication, the company has grown to an area of about 10 hectares. Now, as sons, we face the most difficult task: to follow in our father's footsteps with the same passion. That's why we work personally in the vineyards and in the wine cellar and our goal is to produce wines in harmony with nature. That's why we do not use chemicals and try to build a harmonious relationship with the environment to produce natural grape varieties and wines from them that reflect our philosophy.
The grapes are exclusively hand-picked and their vinification is done in steel tanks with control of the fermentation temperature. The wine is refined with shale contact until bottling. Every year, an average of 50-55,000 bottles are produced, made from approximately 10 hectares of vines with different plant densities (4000-7000 vines / hectare).
