Trotamundos works with carefully selected vineyards across Chile, primarily in the Casablanca Valley—a cool-climate region influenced by the Pacific Ocean. Morning fog, coastal breezes, and long growing seasons allow grapes to ripen slowly, preserving freshness, acidity, and aromatic precision.
The project was founded by winemakers César Baeza and Miguel Besoaín, who share a global perspective shaped by working across different wine regions. Rather than relying on a single estate, they source fruit from sites that best express each grape variety, focusing on terroir-driven wines that highlight Chile’s diverse landscapes.
In the cellar, their approach is minimal intervention: hand-harvested grapes, careful selection, small-batch production, and little to no additives. The goal is to craft “honest” wines—pure, expressive, and full of character—where both vineyard and vintage speak clearly in the glass.
SUSTAINABLE. LOW SULFITES.
