This wine is all about spice & herbs (think pepper, aniseed, laurels and garrigue) mixed with sumptuous dark ripe fruit (blackberries, blueberries, plump black cherries) wrapped in a velvety texture. Ending on licorice for days and smoothed-out tannins.
Tart red berry fruit, silky tannins, medium-bodied, zingy acidity, will appeal to fans of Beaujolais (Gamay), Zweigelt, or easy drinking Pinot Noir. Served chilled. Great summer red!
