The 2007 vintage has notes of earth, truffle, dark red fruit, and tobacco. The wine is getting better each vintage. This is ripe and generous, full of freshly minted tannins and layers of wood over the ripe berry fruit.

Deep ruby red, lighter in body than average chianti, ripe red fruit, plum, cherry, violet, low tannins.
Serious yet vibrant, plum, licorice, ground coffee, strawberry, raspberry, touch of spice & raw earth on the finish, soft with tannins countered by an elevated acidity.
