Aromas of candied Morello cherry, ripe berries, delicate spice notes; on the palate jammy red and dark berries, hints of spice and pepper; elegant and slightly oaked finish with subtle roasted notes.
Hints of hazelnuts and butter amongst the pear and apple fruit give complexity and interest; surprisingly approachable when young.
Light on the palate, fresh with mineral-laced red fruit. Tannins are just a hint dry, tight with rose petals and blood orange. Spicy notes on the modest finish.
Brilliant garnet-red color, with warmer tinges developing over time. Oak renderings of cedarwood and spice are woven together with wild cherry, cassis, and crushed stone. Licorice, and dried flowers. Dry taste, full tannins.
With its charming ruby red color with subtle blue, its flavors have a good intensity of red berries combined with a touch of licorice. The mouth is ample, elegant with well-rounded tannins, hiding the good underlying structure. It has good persistence.
These are very pure wines with a subtle balance of fruit, acid, and minerality.
