The 2007 vintage has notes of earth, truffle, dark red fruit, and tobacco. The wine is getting better each vintage. This is ripe and generous, full of freshly minted tannins and layers of wood over the ripe berry fruit.
With aromas of pear, peach, toasted almonds, white flowers, fresh bread, and oyster shell. Full-bodied, layered, and concentrated, it's deep and fleshy, with superb concentration, racy acids, and a long, saline finish.

This wine is a very dry red with deep fruits and medium tannins and a long finish. You'll enjoy this if you like an earthier, heavier red.
