This Welshriesling - Grasevina in Croatian - is among the most intense, deeply flavored examples of the variety found anywhere. Intense stony minerality complements intense stone fruit flavors for an unusually powerful wine with a long finish.
The nose offers crushed blueberry, plum, black raspberry and slight baking spice. The palate is round with supple, if slightly dusty tannins and retains a hint of earthiness that can be perceived underlying the fruit.
Medium-bodied, with a delightful sea breeze, salty, mineral, seashell quality, laced with fruity and bright acidity, with aromas of black currant and cherry.
Aromas of fresh grass, green melon, and yellow nectarines burst from the glass. The palate brings a macadamia nut with intense texture. There is a good bit of acid initially that dissipates leaving a long, persistent and round finish.
Intense bouquet, ripe fruits, prunes and compote of blueberries and raspberries. The aging in oak leaves it with notes of vanilla and coconut. The palate is smooth and balanced. It has a powerful and long-lasting aftertaste.
Medium-red color, with a slight orange tint, typical of Burgundian-style Pinot Noir. Aromas of dark cherries, red plums and a hint of nutmeg. On the palate, notes of blackberries with a slight earthy finish.
Clear, straw-yellow color. On the palate, grassy, citrus with ginger notes, well-balanced, intense, with a touch of minerality. Dry, fresh, with a clean finish.
This orange (looks more pinkish than orange) wine has impeccable definition with pure strawberry fruit layering with minerality and bright acidity. It is very pretty with great concentration despite not being heavy.
With a bouquet of spicy cherries, succulent raspberries, fresh herbs and a touch of sweet cranberry, this juicy Beaujolais is succulent and tangy, with just a touch of tannin and a long, youthful finish.
