Dark ruby red with a ripe fruity nose, with savory and spiced herb aromatics. The palate is elegant and juicy with fresh plums, violets, forest floor, and a touch of salty bitterness on the finish.

The 2007 vintage has notes of earth, truffle, dark red fruit, and tobacco. The wine is getting better each vintage. This is ripe and generous, full of freshly minted tannins and layers of wood over the ripe berry fruit.
